In June German enterprise "Fruit drinks plant WDH" to launch the juice plant worth to around EUR 10 mln.
The enterprise "Fruit drinks plant WDH" (Brestskaya region) will launch the juice plant this June. The plant costs around EUR 10 mln., the enterprise specialists informed "Interfax".
"The State acceptance protocol has been already signed. The official opening ceremony of the plant will take place late June", the representatives of the enterprise informed.
On the first stage the fruit drinks plant will produce baby food juices under Kinella trademark according to the technology and formulations provided by German company Akkermann Haus. "Initially we plan to produce up to 8 items of juices; the first three of them will be supplied for sale in July of the current year", the interviewees of the agency said. Juices will be bottled to 0.2 L glass bottles with twist-off lid.
The enterprise plan to produce juices and juice-containing drinks in glass bottles and PET packs for the general consumption.
The plant capacity is 420 tons of juice per day. The enterprise intends to produce around 5 mln. of conditional jars till the end of the current year. "Initially we expect to load approximately 30% of the capacities", the plant representatives added. The plant also plans to provide services of the juice production on the give-and-take basis.
The interviewees specified that the founder of the company, German LEAHG Holding, has invested around EUR 10 mln. to this project.
The representatives of "Fruit drinks plant WDH" inform that the construction of the second stage of the plant is planned in the perspective; they mean the creation of the facilities for the processing of the local raw materials into juice concentrate. "This enterprise will be designed to satisfy the own needs of the enterprise", they added. "Also, the exports of the juice concentrates thought the chains of our founder are possible".
"Fruit drinks plant WDH" enterprise (earlier known as "Belarusian-German Trade House") was founded in 2004. The production was created on the basis of the cannery in Vysokoye town.
