Ukraine's gvt suspended activities of servicing export contracts at 6 exchanges

Ukraine's Agrarian Policy Ministry suspended activities of servicing export contracts at 6 commodity exchanges.

According to the Ministry's order of November 14, 2002, validity of fitness conclusion has been suspended for West-Ukrainian Real Estate Exchange, Ivano-Frankivsk Agricultural Exchange, Mariupol Universal Commodity Exchange, Prykarpattya Regional Commodity Exchange, Rivne Commodity Exchange and Dneprodzerzhinsk Commodity Exchahge.

According to executive Director of Ukrainian National Association of Exchanges Halina Shevchenko, the above-mentioned exchanges have not worked in the market of agricultural products for more than six months, which is the main condition of getting the permit for servicing export contracts.

To renew validity of fitness conclusion, the exchanges have to be accredited for this kind of activities anew.
