L. Kozachenko: Grain yield may triple in the nearest years
Grain yield may triple in the nearest years, Vice Premier Leonid Kozachenko thinks.
In his words, grain yield in 2001 varied from 1.6 to 7.2 tons per hectare. After undertaking of purposeful works directed for increase of grain yield and quality average crop may increase significantly. In L. Kozachnko's opinion, these actions won't only increase industry's profitability, but will also provide a possibility to free a lot of low-yield areas.
