Ukraine opened a fruits and vegetables freezing plant

The plant for processing and freezing of fruits and vegetables started functioning in Berezhinka village near Kirovograd. The modern European equipment was set at the plant, Delfi reported.

According to Tatyana Boichenko, the Director of the plant, the hourly freezing capacity totals 7 – 8 tonnes of vegetables or fruits. The freezing helps storing the produce for a long period and not to lose its taste.

The plant will process its own produce, because it has more than 100.000 ha of lands through the oblast.
