Dagestan: farms harvested more than 26.000 ha areas of vegetables

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Dagestan, the agrarian enterprises harvested vegetables throughout more than 26.000 ha, from 40.400 ha of harvesting areas RIA “Dagestan” reported. Gross harvest totaled more than 640.000 tonnes, up 44.00 tonnes compared to the same period of the last year. The average yield totals 241 c/ha, up 14 c, than in the last year.

As reported in the Ministry of Agriculture of Dagestan, 11 regions have already finished the harvesting. As usual, the leaders of the harvested crop are the farms of Derbent region. Nearly 216.000 tonnes of vegetables with the yield at 480 c/ha were harvested by the growers of this region.
