Belarus harvested 636.000 tonnes of potatoes

According to the official data, as of October, 6, 2008, 636.080 tonnes of potatoes were harvested in the agrarian farms of Belarus. The gross harvest totaled 207.740 tonnes. Potatoes were harvested throughout 30.620 ha that is 63.34 % from the plan.

To the same date of last year, 682.160 tonnes of potatoes were harvested that totaled 81.82 % from the plan with the average yield of 186.38 ha/c.

The leading in potatoes harvesting is Minsk region, where as of October 6, 2008, 185.790 tonnes of potatoes were harvested with 208 c/ha average yield.
