Kazakhstan: prices for vegetables and fruits increased
During 9 months, the prices for vegetables and fruits substantially increased. According to the press-cutting service of the agency of Kazakhstan, during the reporting period, the prices for potatoes increased by 13.5 %, for vegetables – by 7.4 %, onion – by 14.9 %, beet – by 12.5 %, cabbage – by 3.7 %.
Prices for berry crops increased by 15.7 %.
In September of the current year, as compared to December of 2007, prices for plant growing produce increased by 19 %.
During 9 months of 2009, prices for agrarian produce increased by 14.6 %.
