Kazakhstan: mass tomato harvesting is to start in the hothouse complex "Asia Trade"

Mass tomato harvesting will start in the hothouse complex “Asia Trade”. It is the first high-tech modern hothouse complex built according to the Israeli technology and started functioning since the end of August.

Using this equipment, the complex will annually produce more than 400 tonnes of vegetables, up nearly 10 times as compared to the harvest of open-soil growing and production of traditional hotbeds and hothouses.

In general, the system program on hothouse farms development is realized, so that, sufficient facilities for growing of vegetables and fresh herbs during the interseasonal period will be built up in 2 years. According to the previous estimations, this complex will supply all the population with vitamin produce and decrease import volumes and prices for vegetables and fruits.
