Belarus: potato harvesting to draw to a close

According to the Ministry of agriculture and food of the Republic of Belarus , potatoes are harvested throughout 45.332 ha that is 96.15 % from the plan.

As of the same date of the last year, potato harvesting was completed throughout 42.690 ha or 98.84 % from the plan.

Regarding the current year, the leading in potato harvesting is Mogilev region – harvesting has already been completed.

In general, gross crop of potatoes totals 929.217 tonnes with the yield of 204.98 c/ha.
