Kazakhstan: economic crisis not to influence vegetable and fruit market

Economic crisis is spreading all over the world, but the government of Kazakhstan has already taken the necessary steps for preservation of economic stability. Special attention was paid to all industries of agroindustrial complex and fruit and vegetable industry in particular, reported “Kazinforma”.

As Akylbek Kyrishbaev, the Minister of agriculture, reported, despite the crisis, the development of fruit and vegetable market would remain dynamical. According to specialists, fresh vegetable produce will be supplied to the customers all the year round if 170 ha of hothouses are to be constructed throughout the country. Also Minister added that 10 ha of hothouses would be built during the current year.
