Ukraine: prices for carrot down 30%

According to monitoring data of Fruit-Inform project, prices for carrot decreased by 40 % during the week. Market operators reported that the main reason is mass harvesting of carrot, as a result, number of offers substantially increased. Besides, decrease of demand from potential purchasers has negative influence on price level.

At the moment the selling prices for carrot are declared within a range of 0.09- 0.24 euro/kg depending on volume of wholesale lot and sale region.
