Financial crisis affected Ukrainian juice producers
Financial crisis started affecting Ukrainian juice producers by delays in payments from trading networks, reported the Vice-President of the Association :Union of juice producers of Ukraine", Vladimir Onopriyenko.
According to the President of the Association, producers have to decrease production rates and some of them will be forced to hold up investment projects.
Onopriyenko also supposes that financial crisis has become one of the reasons of slowing down of the rise of domestic juice market capacity in the current season.
According to data of the Juice Union of Ukraine, capacity of Ukrainian juice markets will total 800 mln tonnes in 2008, up 4% from 2007. At that, experts expected for market growth at 11-12 %.
Just to remind, Ukrainian companies such as "Sandora", "Vitmark-Ukraine", "Erlan", "Coca-Cola", "Ridna Marka", "Fruit Master-Group", take about 98% from the markets of juice and its contents.
