Dagestan: potato harvesting completed

Potato harvesting has been completed in Dagestan, reported the Ministry of Agriculture. 382.000 tonnes against 375.000 tonnes last year were harvested from 22.900 ha. Average yield totaled 167 c/ha.

This year according to the plan of the Ministry of Agriculture they should harvest 385.600 tonnes of potato, however this index was possible if the harvesting area totaled 24.600 ha.

In addition to that, Dagestan is still harvesting lots of agricultural commodities - vegetables, fruits, rice, maize, etc.
