Ukraine: prices for onion down twice
At the moment prices for onion in Ukraine decreased twice compared to the same indices of the last year. According to specialists, general overproduction in the current season is the main season of this situation. The other important factor negatively influenced the prices is low interest of wholesale companies in purchasing caused by low qualitative indices.
According to market operators, at the moment offer prices are declared within a range of 0.07-0.19 euro/kg as compared to the same period of the last season when prices varied within 0.15-0.24 euro/kg.
