Dagestan: high indices of harvest campaign

According to the data provided by the Ministry of agriculture of the Republic, during this year, last year indices of agrarian crop yield are overfulfiled, reported RIA “Dagestan”.

At the moment more than 140.000 tonnes of fruit are harvested, up 157 % compared to the last year when this index totaled nearly 90.000 tonnes. Harvest of melons and gourds is considered as high - 215.500 tonnes are harvested that is 123 % up as compared to the index of 2007.

Potato harvesting is completed, more than 382.000 tonnes are harvested, up 110 %.
