Ukraine: prices for potatoes increased by 20%

According to the information provided by the specialists of Fruit-Inform project, prices for potatoes in Ukraine increased by 20 % from the indices of the last year. At the moment selling prices are declared within a range of 0.17- 0.31 euro/kg as compared to the last year when prices were fixed at 0.14- 0.25 euro/kg.

As producers reported, decrease of domestic production is the main reason of the current situation.
