Ukraine: walnut exports increased by 4 times

According to the information provided by the specialists of Fruit-Inform project, during the first 9 months of 2008, exports of walnut increased by 4 times compared to the same indices of the last season. Most market specialists reported that sharp growth of domestic production was the main reason of exports increase. Besides, the main feature of the current season is high qualitative indices of Ukrainian walnuts, as a result, purchasing interest from European countries substantially increased.

The most important trends of nut market of Ukraine and development prospects will be discussed during the Second international forum "Nut Business of Ukraine 2008". To participate in the conference, an application form should be filled.
