EU wants meat quotas consultations with Russia

European Union asked Russia for consultations concerning introduction by Moscow of quotas for imports of poultry and pig meat, Head of Eurocommission's Office in Russia Richard Wright declared January 29.

He said European Union would like traditional export flows from EU to Russia not to be undermined. "We will set it as a priority task", he said and expressed hope that the consultations would be soon started.
