Ukraine: sharp decrease of demand for vegetable preserving

The situation with the preserving sales remains critical, reported representatives of many processing enterprises to by the specialists of Fruit-Inform project. Most specialists connected this fact with general decrease of customers’ purchasing activeness in the conditions of economic crisis.

It should be noted that generally, demand for produce decreased on the domestic market. Enterprises shipping produce for exports have no difficulties with sales.

In these conditions, many industrial complexes decided to reduce or even postpone purchasing of vegetable raw material. Many farmers are concerned with this decision, as supplies to processing enterprises were the main sales channels.
