Ukraine: economic crisis has no impact on citrus shipments

According to Mikhail Shaposhnikov, head of the Department of development and foreign affairs of Odessa trade seaport, world economic crisis does not influence the volumes of citrus shipments to Odessa port, reported RIA “GLAS”. Also, he noted that for the past 11 months, 255 tonnes of citrus were accepted by Odessa port. As usual, the main importers of oranges, lemons, tangerines are Turkey, Cyprus, Israel, Argentina and South African Republic, at the same time, bananas are imported only by Ecuador. The monthly capacity of Odessa trade port is nearly 25-26 tonnes of citrus.
