Russia: self-sufficiency with potatoes reaches 117%

Omsk region ranks first place in Siberia federal district on consumption of main food products per capita. Almost 165 kg of vegetables fall to the share of one resident. This region enters the number of leaders on consumption per capita throughout the country, as well as in Siberia federal district, reported the representative of press-cutting service of regional administration to IA REGNUM. At that, self-sufficiency with potatoes reaches 117%, with other vegetables – more than 100 %. Since the beginning of the current year, the gross value of agrarian produce totaled more than 1.479 billion.
