Ukraine: juice production to decrease

According to operative data of the State Statistics Committee, in November, 2008, 62.600 tonnes of fruit and vegetable juices were produced, down 37 %, compared to November of the last year (99.100 tonnes).

During 11 months of the current year, Ukraine produced 901.300 tonnes of nectars, fruit and vegetable juices, down 10 %, compared to the same period of 2007. Production of blend, concentrate and natural juices reduced by 5 %, 49 % and 7 % respectively. In November, production of juices for children reduced by 31 %, compared to November of the last year. During 11 months, production of juices for children reduced by 27 %, compared to the same period of the last year.
