Japanese feed producers interested in supplies of Ukrainian agricultural produce

Expansion of the range of Ukrainian agricultural produce in Japanese market was the topic of talk of Ukraine's Ambassador to Japan Yuri Kostenko and CEO of Japanese Association of Animal Feeds Producers Minoru Yoneyama, Ukraine's Embassy in Japan has informed.

Association is one of the largest Japanese consumers of Ukrainian agricultural products - first of all, dry fat-free milk and grains. Last year share of Ukrainian fat-free milk in Japanese market reached 36 percent; the first ever supplies were made of feed barley and wheat.

According to the Embassy, trade turnout between the two countries in 2002 increased 20 percent from 2001.
