Livestock head in Ukraine decreased on a month

Head of cattle in Ukraine as of February 1, 2003 constituted 9.099 million, which is by 84,000 heads or 0.9 percent less than as of January 1, this year. Cattle head in private household decreased by 55,200 or by 1.1 percent, in agricultural enterprises - by 29,100 or 0.6 percent.

Head of pigs as of February 1 decreased on a month by 69,000 or 0.8 percent - to 8.964 million; head pf poultry - by 9.575 million or 6.5 percent - to 138.132 million.
