President suggested technical re-equipment of farming sector on account of extra charge from grain exporters
President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma has suggested considering the possibility to introduce additional charge from the grain, exported by traders.
"It might be worthwhile to introduce additional charge from grain exports by traders and to direct it to re-equipping the farming sector with grain harvesters", President said on February 7, speaking to All-Ukrainian Meeting, devoted to the issues of agriculture.
The President also criticised Ministry of Agrarian Policy for mistakes in its market strategies, agrarian exchanges for inefficiency in their work and banking system for overcharged interest rates on farm credits.
