Russia: production of canned fruits and vegetables in Dagestan

According to official statistics data of Russia, during the latest 3 years, production of canned fruit and vegetable produce substantially increased. According to statistics data, in 2008, 27.5 mln conditional jars of canned fruit and vegetable produce were produced by agrarian enterprises, at that, the value of produced products totaled 3.787 mln euro that is up 865.264 euro, compared to 2007. During the reporting period, 5.000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables were processed in Dagestan.
