Russia: imports of Turkish lemons to increase
According to information, provided by participants of fruit and vegetable market of Moscow, as a consequence of bumper crop of lemons in Turkey, many domestic retail chains increased purchasing volumes of this produce. At that, purchasing prices are lower than cost price. At the moment, prices for lemons are declared by retail chains at the level of 0.79 euro/kg, however, suppliers declared the prices at the level of 0.86 euro/kg. Thus, all market participants have to decrease prices. According to forecasts of specialists, this trend will be observed on the market till the middle of February.
