Russia: increase of demand for vegetable seeds
As specialists report, in Russia demand for vegetable seeds increased, compared to the previous year. Market participants reported that seeds of cucumbers, tomatoes, radish, cabbage and egg-plants were in great demand. At the same time, no demand increase is observed in wholesale trade of seeds. Bankruptcy of many agrarian firms and farmer enterprises due to financial crisis is the main reason of the current situation.
