Eggs production in Ukraine in January-February increased 6.4 pc

Production of eggs in Ukraine in January-February 2003 increased 6.4 percent from the corresponding period of the previous year - up to 1.622 billion, State Statistics Committee has informed.

Agricultural enterprises increased output by 12.4 percent, while production of eggs in private hoseholds dropped 0.1 percent.

In 2002 ukraine produced 11.296 billion eggs - 16.8 percent up from the year before.
