Ukraine produced nearly the same amount of milk in January-February as the year before

In January-February 2003 production of milk in Ukraine increased 0.1 percent from the corresponding months of 2002 - to 1.375 million tones, state committee for statistics has informed. Output in private households increased 5.9 percent, while agricultural enterprises decreased production by 13 percent.

In 2002 production of milk in Ukraine increased 5.2 percent from the year before, reaching 14.138 million tones.
