Government will never return to administrative regulation of agrimarket - agriculture minister
"We will never return to administrative regulation of agricultural products market", Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy Serhiy Ryzhuk has said today to the 2nd International Conference "Grain Industry-2003". He said the government had no claims to grain traders in connection with the situation in grain market that had shaped in this season, and no fiscal actions or limitations were going to be imposed.
He noted that last year there had been 547 entities that were engaged in grains exports. Of these the 5 largest ones were responsible for 30 percent of exports.
In 2002 grain exports from Ukraine constituted 12.168 million tonnes, of which there were 8.304 tonnes of wheat.
