Ukraine's President signed Decree "About Additional Measures for Stabilisation of Grain Market"
President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma has signed a Decree "About Additional Measures for Stabilisation of Grain Market", the President's official site has informed.
The document states, among other, that the Cabinet of Minister of Ukraine is commissioned till July 1, 2003 to assume measures for provision of grain purchases into the state reserve, performance of interventional operations on the grain market, formation of regional grain resources exclusively through accredited exchanges; to adopt regulations as regards formation and utilisation of the state reserve grain, in particular, for regulation of domestic market and execution of obligations under international agreements of Ukraine.
Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is also to approve a procedure of use of state resources of unclaimed mortgaged grain, of the resources of intervention fund, in particular, for exports; to assume organisational measures for creation by agricultural commodity producers of specialised grain exchanges for sales of the products of own production.
