Communists suggested Ukrainian parliament that bread prices be frozen
The committee of Verkhovna Rada (Parliament of Ukraine) for economic policy, property and investments has recommended Rada to adopt in the first reading the bill for amendments into the Law "About Prices and Price Forming" concerning moratorium for increase of prices for bread and bakery products, Verkhovna Rada's informational department has reported.
The bill was submitted by the deputies from the communist faction O. Parubok, V. Puzakov and P. Symonenko.
The bill suggests putting a moratorium on price increase for bread and bakery products until the minimal salary and pensions reached the subsistence minimum and purchasing power of the majority of population increased.
