Ukraine's sweet cherry is cheaper than in Polland
Polish farmers delayed supply of the first sweet cherry to the domestic market for 2 weeks, said Fresh-market.pl. According to wholesale buyers, quality of the produce is low. The berry is sour and small (1 cm size) at a price of 0.97 -1.2 euro/ kg.
Ukraine's wholesale price for sweet cherry amounts to 0.55-1.2 euro/kg depending on the quality. The price keeps on falling due to high supply on the market. Ukrainian producers exported the produce to Russia at a price of 3.5-4 euro/kg. The below mentioned price is similar to the price for imported sweet cherry.
