Price forecast for raspberry in Ukraine and Polland in 2010

According to Pollish specialists, the season will be unprofitable for the farmers. Cold and rainy weather influences raspberry blossom and promotes plant diseases. Polish production is expected to be lower than last year and the price will increase. Raspberry price on Polish market will not get lower than 1.2 euro/kg even if weather improves. Most market analysts suppose that the price will amount to 1.9-2.4 euro/kg. Such price is 25-30% higher than last year.
