Ukraine's tax authorities check lawfulness of VAT refund to grain traders

Ukraine's Prime Minister Victor Yanukovych and Head of State Tax Administration Yuri Kravchenko have discussed the necessity of precise checks of rightfulness and lawfulness of Value Added Tax reimbursement to grain traders, performing export operations.

Yuri Kravchenko has noted that in order to prevent illegal VAT refunds, the tax authority will continue the work of verifying lawfulness of VAT refund to grain traders and will submit proposals about legislative and executive measures for prevention of the so called "pseudo-exports".
