Cherries production in Poland and Ukraine

Cherry orchards keep on expanding in Poland. In 2009 cherry orchards increased by 7% to 10 600 ha against 9 500 ha in 2005. In 2007 Polish farmers had the poorest harvest of 20 200 tonnes due to cold spring. In 2009 the farmars harvested the most abundant crops of 50,5 tonnes.
