Discounts are provided for shipment of transit grain cargos in Ukrainian ports

Ukraine's Ministry of Transport has introduced discounts from the blanket rates for processing of transit cargos in 16 out of 18 Ukrainian state-owned seaports (with exception of Yalta and Sevastopol seaports) and in Kerch Fishing Port, Seanews agency informed. The norms have been introduced in accordance with the new tariff pricebook, envisaging provision of up to 50 percent discounts for transits.

The maximal rate of discount - 50 percent - is provided for transhipment of transit grain cargos in Odessa, Ilyichovsk, Nikolaev, Feodosia, Reni, Ust-Dunaiski, Belgorod-Dnestrovski and Kerch Trading ports.

Nearly all of the ports provide discounts for processing grain cargos in the rate of 37 to 50 percent, the news agency writes.
