CM obliged AgMin and local powers to restore 4-month-old level of foodstuff prices
Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has obliged Ministry of Agrarian Policy and local authorities in regions till August 30 to provide for return of foodstuff prices back onto the level, which existed in Ukraine before May 1. This was stated by Ukraine's Prime Minister Victor Yanukovych at a sitting of the Cabinet.
The Cabinet has created five working groups, headed by Vice Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, to control execution of the set task in the regions.
As it has been reported, prices for flour, pasta goods, sugar and some other staples started to grow in the regions of Ukraine in June because of rush demand, which later caused numerous administrative replacements, initiated by the Cabinet of Ministers in regions and in central governmental bodies.
