AMC investigates market behaviour of grain millers
Ukraine's Anti-Monopoly Committee, which already investigated the bread baking market and found no direct links between activity of monopolists in this market and price hike in June, has now switched its attention to investigation of market behaviour of Ukrainian producers and supplies of flour.
The AMCU Head Olexiy Kostusev said: "While investigating the circumstances of the crisis, we are trying to work systematically, in order to restore the whole picture of events and to understand the real links between the causes and circumstances of the rush demand… AMCU will necessarily inform the public about the results of its work".
