Chile becomes one of the most important suppliers of table grapes, kiwifruits, and other fruits to Ukraine

According to analysts of Fruit-Inform, Chilean suppliers of fruits keep on strengthening their positions at Ukrainian market. Currently, Chile already enters group of three largest suppliers of kiwifruits and table grapes, and continues to raise its positions in rating of suppliers of apples.

As of today, according to our data, Ukraine is annually supplied with 7-8 thousand tonnes of fruits from Chile. As to Ukrainian purchasers, Chilean produce has very good reputation at market due to high-quality parameters.

In 2010/11, Chilean suppliers are ready to increase supplies of fruits to market of Ukraine thanks to availability of conducting of direct supplies and improving of export logistics from this distant country. According to experts of Fruit-Inform, Chilean table grapes and kiwifruits are the most prospective categories of supplies.

The great opportunity to get directly acquainted with the largest suppliers of Chilean fruits will appear already in the next week, in course of exhibition “WorldFood Ukraine-2010” that is to take place at International Exhibition Center, Kiev, on October 26-29. Chilean Fresh Fruit Association will take part in this event, and specialists of Fruit-Inform will help organize a meeting with suppliers.
