Bayer company is the general sponsor of the conference «Potato and Vegetables of Ukraine-2011»

Fruit-Inform Project and ORSP Shuvar inform that registration for participation in the third international conference “Potato and Vegetables of Ukraine-2011” is in progress. This event will traditionally take place at Shuvar wholesale market, 4 b Khutorovka St, Lvov, Ukraine, February 24-25, 2011.

The general sponsor of the conference is Bayer company, whose representative body – Nunhems® - enters the group of four leading vegetable seed companies of the world and is represented in all major markets for vegetable produce of Europe, Middle East, North and South Africa, both Americas and Asia-Pacific Region.

Program of the conference consists of five sessions, one of which is “Market for potatoes and borsch vegetables (onions, cabbages, beets, carrots)”. During this session the following subjects will be touched:

- Potato market of Ukraine in 2011 – psychology and prospects of market participants. Rating dynamics of major producers

- Production and price forecast for borsch vegetables (onions, cabbages, beets, carrots)

- How to cover potato and vegetable shortage in the first half of the year and what to do with oversupply in the second? Estimation of produce shortage and surplus levels on the market

We expect about 150 participants from 10 countries of the world to take part in the conference. Half of them are producers of potatoes and vegetables.
