SmartFresh to present novelties in quality maintenance technologies at Fresh Produce Ukraine 2011

AgroFresh multinational company (a part of Dow Chemical Company) with its SmartFresh brand is to present a package of its innovative products and services at its stand at Fresh Produce Ukraine 2011 Fair. The exhibition will be hosted at IEC, the most up-to-date exhibition center of Ukraine in Kiev, from November 30 to December 2, 2011.

We have every reason to say that SmartFresh has conducted a revolution in the world of fresh produce storage. Since 2003 when SmartFresh was officially registered for commercial use in the EU (Great Britain), South Africa and New Zealand, it started being used in practically all countries throughout the world. SmartFresh's clients note that using this technology gives them great advantages in the produce storage period and quality, enables to save electricity used for cooling, better maintain the marketable state of fresh produce and prolong the sales period of produce in retail and wholesale after extraction from chambers. Thanks to SmartFresh, many producers being not able to afford the expensive CA or ULO storage technology managed to store apples and pears in conventional cooling chambers for longer period of time and with less losses.

Moreover, SmartFresh keeps on advancing its products and widening their application area. To know more about SmartFresh technology and its novelties, you should visit the company's stand at Fresh Produce Ukraine 2011.

As of today, about two thirds of the exhibition's area has been already reserved. There are about 50 companies from 10 countries of the world engaged in the fresh produce business among exhibitors, inclusive of such world-know companies as Syngenta, Agrofresh Inc. (Smatfresh), Enza Zaden, Greefa, The Nickerson-Zwaan Group, Agroplant, Allround Vegetable Processing B.V., APH Group, Altracon, Insolar, Chilean Fresh Fruit Association, Maschio Gaspardo S.p.A., Mediterranean Fruit Company S.p.A., Sorma Group, Fito-Mag, Kronen GmbH, Plattenhardt + Wirth GmbH, Holland Rosetta and many others.

The event will be widely covered in the global specialized and business mass media and has already received official support from Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. Furthermore, the exhibition will be a place for the Eighth International Conference “Fruits & Vegetables of Ukraine – 2011. New Exporter”.
