The conference “Potatoes and Vegetables of Ukraine – 2012” to gather leading producers of the country
According to Fruit-Inform, the organizer of the 4th International Conference “Potatoes and Vegetables of Ukraine – 2012”, as of today, their participation in the event has been already confirmed by many Ukrainian producers of potatoes and traditional vegetables (onions, white cabbages, red beets, carrots).
Among registered participants we may mention the following leading companies: Mriya, Adelaida, Vladam, Chernihiv Industrial Dairy Company, Chernigovelitkartofel, Volya, Granex Cherkassy, Podilya Vegetable House (Svarog), Tira-Agro, VK i K and many others. We should note that the interest to this year's event is shown by many producers still having large stocks of produce, as the conference emphasis will be made on the possibility of sales of surplus produce.
Notwithstanding the abundant supply in the vegetable and potato market, supermarket chains and wholesale trade representatives actively register their participation in the conference too. Traditionally, the conference will be attended by leading suppliers of seeds, machinery and equipment, who hope to persuade farmers not to reduce planted areas in new season.
As of today, there are about 100 delegates from Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Italy, Hungary and even Saudi Arabia to have officially registered their participation in the conference. The event will be held in Kiev, Ukraine, February 16-17, 2012.
Altogether, the organizers expect the total number of the conference attendees to exceed 150 delegates. Moreover, Ukrainian Association of Potato Producers is the conference co-organizer that will significantly increase the professional level of attendees.
Official applications for participation in the conference will be accepted till February 10 inclusive.
