Fruit and vegetable markets of Russia and Ukraine, the 4th week of 2012
In the 4th week of 2012, the Russian fruit and vegetable market experienced the following events:
- the price situation in the cucumber market was mixed;
- tomato prices were mainly growing;
- the demand for citrus fruits slightly increased;
- in most cases, banana prices were not revised.
At the same time, the Ukrainian fruit and vegetable market was characterized by the following facts:
- an upward price trend was outlined in the cucumber and tomato market;
- onion prices kept on decreasing;
- apple prices were mainly stable;
- positive price performance was registered in the banana market.
