Ukrainian supermarkets’ fresh produce departments again in Fruit-Inform’s limelight
Specially for the 4th International Conference “Potatoes and Vegetables of Ukraine – 2012”, Fruit-Inform analysts will monitor fresh produce departments of Ukraine’s supermarket chains. The monitoring results will be presented for the conference participants and will enable to keep a close watch on chains’ progress in comparison with the previous monitoring conducted in late November 2010.
In-depth assessment of the fresh produce situation in different retail chain categories is one of the most important innovations of the current monitoring. In addition, for the first time ever, Fruit-Inform will give utterance to a percentage of imported produce in the structure of each product group in each leading retail chain. The conference participants will also receive detailed information about the price difference between packed and unpacked produce and a percentage of packed produce in each product group. Moreover, Fruit-Inform will reveal what retail chains have the lowest prices, the largest percentage of domestic produce, the best merchandising approach etc.
The conference organizers will also present a ranking of retail chains according to their relations with suppliers. For that, Fruit-Inform experts will survey a representative number of companies supplying their fresh produce to each big retail chain in Ukraine.
We would remind you that the 4th International Conference “Potatoes and Vegetables of Ukraine – 2012” will be held at President Hotel, Kiev, Ukraine, February 16-17, 2012.
