Record number of producers to take part in “Potatoes & Vegetables of Ukraine – 2012”

The program of the 4th International Conference “Potatoes and Vegetables of Ukraine – 2012”, which will be held in Kiev, Ukraine, February 16-17, 2012, has aroused considerable interest from a record number of Ukrainian producers. As of today, almost 80% of all conference participants are producers of traditional vegetables (onions, white cabbages, red beets, carrots) and potatoes.

The reason for such a high interest of producers lies in the conference program reflecting the most pressing and topical problems for the Ukrainian potato and vegetable business such as the following:

- potato and vegetable production and price prospects in the following season;

- pricing prospects in the end of the current season;

- potato and vegetable export prospects;

- new opportunities in vegetable processing;

- detailed information about trade through supermarket chains and independent monitoring of them;

- possibilities of increasing production and storage efficiency, and many others.
