The marketing and the modern production technologies for vegetable and cucurbits crops in the open ground will be presented on AMP Field day on the 22nd of July 2005 in Crimea

On the 22nd of July 2005 the Crimean office of the Agricultural Marketing Project (AMP) conducts the Field day jointly with the AMP partner, Mriya private agricultural enterprise; the following world, European and national companies will also participate in the event: Clause Tezier, Nunhems, Nickerson-Zwaan, Rijk Zwaan, Bejo Zaden, Terra Agricompany, Vilmorin, Agrimatko, Private Enterprise Krokus, Moravoseed, Ozarov Mazowiecki, Terra Ltd, Syngenta, Summit Agro Ukraine, Du Pont, Technoservice LLC, Petruzalek, Dunapack LLC, Sandora, Pivdenniy Bug LLC, Biotechnika Center LLC, Scientific-Production Center Reakom, Furshet, Silpo, Rainford supermarkets.

The participants will have the opportunity to see 217 hybrids and new varieties grown on the opened ground (98 tomatoes, 18 cucumbers, 11 squashes, 8 egg-plants, 26 peppers, 16 cabbages, 8 sweet corns, 18 melons, 14 water-melons and other vegetables); the enumerated varieties and hybrids were produced applying the advanced technologies, including drip irrigation, complex micro fertilizers, the system of the plant protection assets.

The post harvest handling practices, packing, container samples will also be demonstrated. During the seminar the effective produce sales channels will be presented, which may increase the competitiveness of the produce and the profits of the agricultural producers too.
