Field day on cabbage production will be conducted on September 21st in Poltava oblast

On September 21st 2006 Poltava office of the Agricultural Marketing Project plans to conduct Field day on the basis of GRYGA farm in village Vasilevka, Poltava rayon. The event will be focused on late white cabbage varieties production. The participants of the seminar will learn new hybrids and varieties provided by leading companies Nickerson-Zwaan, Rijk Zwaan, Clause, KROKUS private enterprise. And, the varieties selected by German company Satimex will be introduced for the first time.

Besides, there will be a possibility to compare plantings of different directly-sowed varieties and hybrids in the similar production conditions on non-irrigated fields. The theoretical part will be held in Poltava; the input suppliers and AMP Specialists will participate.
