"Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal extends the geography of the daily wholesale price monitoring for vegetables, fruits, berries, mushrooms and fresh herbs

The "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly journal announces the significant extension of the monitoring geography of the produce wholesale prices. The monitoring of at once several largest markets in the Eastern and Southern Ukraine was added to the monitoring system which now includes the regional largest wholesale markets (FARMER market in Kyiv, SHUVAR market in Lviv, BRONISZE market in Poland and KOPANI market in Kherson oblast, Ukraine). The subscribers of "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal now have the opportunity to daily monitor the price situation on the largest wholesale markets in Gorlovka (Donetsk oblast), Kharkiv, Simferopol and Dnepropetrovsk.

These cities were included to the monitoring system not occasionally. Dnepropetrovsk oblast is one of the largest producers and consumers of the produce in Ukraine. The produce market has been developing very dynamically in this oblast. Despite of the quite great vegetable harvest, Donetsk oblast suffers from the most severe deficit for produce. The demand for fruits and vegetables in Dnepropetrovsk oblast often determines the price situation on the produce market throughout Ukraine.

The prices on "Crimean Privoz" market in Simferopol are very interesting for the produce growers in Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv and Odesa oblasts in summer season when Crimea consumes large quantities of fruits and vegetables produced in the mentioned regions. The prices in Crimea in autumn-winter period could be of interest for the suppliers of potato, carrot, table beets and cabbage from the Northern and Western Ukraine. Also, the produce market of AR Crimea has started to dynamically develop recently; that's why the role of this market as the supplier of early vegetables and berries, and also warm-requiring fruits and table grape will steadily increase in the coming years.

Being one of the largest cities of Ukraine, Kharkiv builds up its position as a large market of fresh produce. Also, several huge greenhouse complexes and many small vegetable growers are working in the region and supplying the produce overstocks to Russian market. That's why the prices for fruits and vegetables in Kharkiv are important benchmarks for many companies working in the produce business.

So, "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal will be able to daily provide its subscribers with the broad market picture after the monitoring system covers the mentioned oblasts. This information will be essential to large and medium producers, wholesalers, supermarket chains, greenhouse complexes and other players of the produce market in the country. The journal plans to soon start the daily price monitoring on the major markets of the Russian Federation and to extend the information block about the world vegetable, fruit, berry and mushroom market.
